At Ekim’s Karate, we believe every child has the potential to be a leader. Our Kids Karate Program is designed to bring out the best in your child—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Whether your child is full of energy, shy and reserved, or somewhere in between, karate is a great way to help them grow into their best self.

What to Expect
Our Kids Karate Classes are led by experienced instructors who know how to motivate and connect with children of all ages. We make sure every student feels included and supported—whether they’re brand new to martial arts or have previous experience.
Classes are structured to include:
- Warm-ups and basic movements
- Karate techniques tailored to your child’s age and skill level
- Confidence-building drills and games
- Positive reinforcement and individual attention
- Progress tracking through our belt ranking system
Kids Karate Classes: Ages & Schedule
We offer separate classes for different age groups, starting as young as age 4. Our karate classes welcome students from across the region, including Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, Colona, Coal Valley, East Moline, Bettendorf, Port Byron, Genesio, Green Rock and all of the Quad cities in Rock Island County & Scott County.
- Ages 4 & up: Tuesday & Thursday – 6:00pm (30 minute class)
- Ages 8 & up: Tuesday & Thursday – 6:30pm (30 minute class)
- Teens & Adults: Monday’s – 6:00pm (1 hour class)
